For outdoor use, this box has been designed to attract birds to nest and to allow you to view them through a quality camera which has a wide angle 110 degree lens.

The inside wall with the entrance hole has a rough finish to enable young birds to climb up and out easier when they are ready to leave the nest. The camera used in the Mccam bird nesting box has a 2.1mm lens providing a viewing angle of 110 degrees. This means you get to see all the action, the mother bird feeding its young and the young ones climbing up the wall out of the nest.

The nestbox is built from 15mm thick solid wood, sourced from sustainable forests. this provides a quality box and additional protection for the birds that nest in it. The Nesting bird box has been designed in accordance with recommendations from the RSPB. The Nesting Bird box comes with two changeable front panels enabling the attraction of different birds.

The 25 mm hole front panel should be used to attract blue-tits, tree sparrows and other small birds alike.
The 32 mm hole front panel should be used to attract larger birds like great-tits and house sparrows.
With the front panel removed completely you can attract robins and wrens.

The Night Vision camera has a wide angle 110 degree 2.1mm lens for maximum viewing inside the bird box. A 6mm lens would only provides a viewing angle of 52 degrees, this means that with the Mccam Nestcam you can actually see the birds entering and leaving the bird box. Other bird boxes may only show the base of the bird box. The Mccam Nesting bird box provides you with all the action!
